Privacy Policy

Our games are built offline-first, so almost nothing about you ever leaves your device. This page covers every title we publish and explains exactly what the exceptions are.

Last updated: 8 August 2026 Applies to: all Bhushan Games titles & bborse.github.io
Template — not legal advice. This is a solid starting point for a studio publishing offline-first Android games, but it must be checked against what your builds actually do and reviewed by a qualified lawyer. It also has to match each game's Google Play Data safety form exactly. Fill in every [bracketed placeholder] and delete this banner before publishing.

1. Who we are

Bhushan Games (“we”, “us”) is an independent mobile game studio operated by [Legal entity name], registered at [Registered address]. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation we are the data controller for the limited personal data described below.

This policy does not cover Google Play itself, which is governed by Google's privacy policy.

2. Which apps this covers

One policy applies to every game we publish, including Merge 2248 Number Puzzle and ARROWS – Escape Puzzle, plus any title released after this date, and this website.

If a future game ever collects something different from what is listed below, we will say so on that game's store listing and update this page before release.

3. What we collect

Our games work offline and do not require an account. Progress, scores and settings are stored only on your device unless you choose to sign in to Google Play Games. The table below is the complete picture.

Data collected by Bhushan Games titles, why, and on what legal basis
DataWhen WhyLegal basis (GDPR)
Game progress & settings Always — stored locally on your device To remember where you are Not transmitted to us
Google Play Games ID, saved games Only if you sign in to Play Games Cloud save, achievements, leaderboards Consent
Advertising identifier Only in ad-supported builds To serve and measure banner ads Consent, via the Google UMP form
Crash & performance data When an app crashes or stalls To find and fix bugs Legitimate interest
Purchase records If you buy an ad-free upgrade To unlock and restore purchases Performance of a contract
Email address & message contents If you write to us or request a test invite To answer you and add you to a testing track Legitimate interest / consent

We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera input, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.

4. How we use it

  • To run the games and remember your progress.
  • To sync saves across devices when you sign in to Play Games.
  • To diagnose crashes and tune difficulty and performance.
  • To show ads in free builds, and to stop showing them once you upgrade.
  • To reply to support email and manage closed testing tracks.

We never sell your data, and we do not profile you for automated decisions.

5. Ads and analytics

Ad-supported builds show banner advertising served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier. Where required (EEA, UK, Switzerland) we present Google's User Messaging Platform consent form on first launch, and you can change your answer from the game's settings at any time.

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
  • Buying the one-time ad-free upgrade stops the ad SDK making requests at all.

Crash reporting is handled by [Google Play Console / Firebase Crashlytics / none]. Reports contain device model, OS version and a stack trace — not the contents of your device.

6. Who we share with

  • Google — Play billing, Play Games saves, AdMob, crash reporting.
  • Our email provider — [provider name], if you write to us.
  • Authorities — only where legally required, and only as far as required.

If a game or the studio is ever sold, we will announce it here before any data moves to a new owner.

7. Children's privacy

Our games are suitable for all ages and contain no chat and no user-generated content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country — 16 in parts of the EEA).

Where a title is served to a child audience under Google Play's Families policy, ads are limited to non-personalised, family-safe inventory and no advertising identifier is used.

Parents and guardians: write to bhushanborse220@gmail.com and we will delete anything relating to your child within 30 days.

8. How long we keep data

  • Local game data: until you delete the app or clear its storage.
  • Play Games saves: held by Google under your account; delete them from Play Games → Settings.
  • Crash reports: up to [90] days.
  • Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires — typically [7] years.
  • Email and tester lists: up to [24] months, or until you ask to be removed.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time.

EEA / UK (GDPR)

Email bhushanborse220@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA, and have not done so in the preceding 12 months. Access and deletion requests go to the same address, and we will not discriminate against you for asking.

India (DPDP Act)

If you are in India you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and nominate someone to exercise those rights on your behalf. Write to the same address.

10. International transfers

Our service providers (principally Google) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

11. Security

Game data on your device sits in the app's private sandbox, and traffic to Google's services uses TLS. We keep the number of systems that can touch player data as small as possible — largely by not collecting much in the first place. If a breach ever affects you we will notify you and the relevant regulator without undue delay.

12. This website

bborse.github.io sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. Two things do reach third parties:

  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which discloses your IP address to Google. Self-host the fonts to avoid this (see assets/README.md).
  • YouTube is contacted only if you press play on a trailer, and we use the youtube-nocookie.com domain.

Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device and is never transmitted. The contact form has no server behind it — it opens your own email app.

13. Changes

If our games change how they handle data, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also appear in the affected app's update notes.
