Privacy Policy
Short version: the game has no accounts and no logins, and your puzzle progress never leaves your phone. Two things do go out — ad requests and, if you allow notifications, a device token.
Every category of data the app touches, and where it goes.
| Data | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level progress, coins, stars | Stays on device | Saved locally so you can continue where you left off |
| Settings — sound, vibration, animation speed | Stays on device | Remembers your preferences between sessions |
| Advertising ID, device and approximate location signals | Sent to Google AdMob | Serving and measuring the ads that keep the game free |
| Notification token | Sent to Firebase | Only if you allow notifications — lets us send you updates |
| Name, email, phone, contacts, photos | Never collected | The game never asks for them and has no account system |
This policy applies to the mobile game Arrows: Escape Puzzle (package com.bhushangames.arrows) on Android and iOS. In this document, "we", "our" and "us" mean the developer of the app; "you" means the person using it.
By installing and playing the game, you accept the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please uninstall the app.
The game has no accounts, no sign-in, and no profile. We never ask you for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location, and the app requests no permission to read any of them.
Three things are nonetheless worth spelling out: what the game saves locally, what the advertising SDK sends, and what happens when you allow notifications. Each has its own section below.
The app keeps a small local database and a preferences file in its own private storage area, which no other app can read. That storage holds:
None of this is uploaded, backed up to our servers, or shared with anyone. It exists only on your phone, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
The game is free and is funded by ads served through Google AdMob. You may see banner ads, full-screen ads between levels, rewarded ads you choose to watch, and an ad when opening the app.
To serve and measure these ads, Google receives information from your device. This typically includes your advertising identifier, device type and operating system version, general location inferred from your IP address, and how you interacted with an ad. We do not receive this data ourselves — it goes directly from the Google SDK inside the app to Google, and we only see aggregate earnings reports.
How Google uses it is governed by Google's own policies, linked in Third-party services.
The app asks whether you want to receive notifications about new content and reminders. This is your choice, and the game is fully playable if you decline.
If you allow them, Firebase Cloud Messaging issues your device a registration token — a random identifier that lets a message reach your phone. It is not tied to your identity and contains no personal information. We use it only to deliver game notifications, and we never sell or share the token list.
You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, which stops all messages regardless of the token.
The app includes two Google services that process data outside our control. We recommend reading their policies:
The app does not include any analytics or behaviour-tracking SDK. We do not measure which levels you play, how long you play, or what you tap.
On Android, open Settings → Google → Ads and turn on "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalisation". On iOS, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track". Ads will still appear, but they will no longer be personalised.
Open your device settings, find Arrows in the app list, and disable notifications. You can re-enable them the same way.
Clearing the app's storage from your device settings erases all local progress and returns the game to a fresh state. This cannot be undone.
Because we hold no account and no server-side profile, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device — progress, settings, and the notification token. Data already collected by Google through the ad SDK is subject to Google's own retention and deletion policies, which you can manage through your Google account.
If you would still like written confirmation, or have a question about your data, write to us at the address in Contact us.
The game contains no violent, adult, or otherwise mature content and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the app has no feature that would let a child submit any.
Note that the app does show advertisements supplied by Google's network. Parents who prefer their child not see personalised advertising can opt out using the steps in Your controls.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will act promptly.
Game data lives in the app's private storage, isolated by the operating system so other apps cannot read it. Communication with Google's advertising and messaging services uses encrypted connections.
No system is perfectly secure, but since the app holds no personal information, there is very little to expose in the first place.
We may update this policy when the app changes — for example, if we add a feature that handles data differently. The "Updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app.
Continuing to use the game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
